Land Acknowledgement

The Wellness Camper gratefully honours the Coast Salish Peoples, as we work and nurture on their unceded territories, here on Vancouver Island.

Acknowledging Indigenous territories is one way to recognize the contemporary and historical Indigenous presence and land rights. It is a small step towards dismantling the continued impacts of colonialism and undoing Indigenous erasure in our everyday lives.
